George Atkinson

Administration & IT Support

George started working for TFP in the admin department on a part-time basis in 2012. George is now a full-time employee and provides invaluable IT and admin support to staff in the office and those we work with around the country.

Wendy Atkinson

Accounts

Wendy has worked for Training for Professionals since 2006 in various roles. Previously employed by a Management Company in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

Tony Wilson

Lettings Consultant

Tony’s career before joining the Training for Professionals Team, started in 1987 as a letting consultant for a large independent letting agency in Bournemouth progressing to the role of Poole Office branch manager, responsible for a sizeable letting and property management team, following a corporate acquisition of the business then asked to set up and run a large regional property management centre. During his time in the industry Tony has acquired a wide range of customer service and management experience, overseen the introduction and implementation of the many changes to residential letting regulations and procedures. He has brought his wide-ranging knowledge and experience to benefit our TFP clients on training courses and the helpline.

Louise Brice

Marketing and Sales Consultant

Louise has worked for TFP since 2015. Her previous experience of running her own company and working within customer services for many years helps her understand the needs of our loyal customers.

David d’Orton Gibson

Managing Director & Trainer

David has worked for many years in theletting industry and has first-hand experience of most roles involved inlettings. For the last 27 years, he has worked full time running training andconsultancy for landlords and agents throughout England and Wales. He teachespublic courses as well as running In House courses for local authorities,letting agents, landlord associations, housing associations, colleges and otherbodies.

Widely respected for his technical knowledgeand teaching style, David combines an authoritative understanding of the legalframework, with practical suggestions on working with people, and presents inan engaging style.

Gill Dokken

Editor, Letting Update Journal

Gill has worked with Training for Professions for about 8 years. She is the main point of contact for major training contract work. Gill is also the editor of the Letting Update Journal with responsibility for all aspects of producing and distributing this publication every quarter.

Mel Izzard

Lettings Consultant

Mel was previously working as a Lettings Property Manager, having moved to Dorset with her family 5 years ago. The newest member of the TFP team, her role as a Lettings Consultant will see Mel becoming more involved in the technical aspects of lettings and increase her knowledge and understanding of the lettings legislation.

Nick Sharp

Lettings Consultant

Nick worked in the lettings industry for 17 years as a Property Manager & Branch Manager in London and Dorset, before joining TFP to further his interest in the technical aspects of the industry. Nick will be focusing on the TFP Helpline, the running of training courses and additional projects related to new legislation.

Sarah Thomson

Administration

Sarah has worked in the admin field for many years providing administrative duties to various companies over the years, in particular she worked as a PA to the Managing Director of a very successful London based company. Sarah provides essential administrative support to our team here at Training for Professionals.


Mark Thomson

Sales and Marketing

Mark worked in the leisure industry for 25 years combining both sales and operational roles which led him to eventually work in the small sided football industry on a national basis. Mark now works in the sales and marketing department with a real focus on business development.
